My Mama, who is almost 67 years old traveled today. She went to Mindanao with my 14 year-old nephew. She has been wanting to travel for the longest time and it is only now that she was able to.
She boarded the plane at ten this morning and texted me at four in the afternoon that they were visiting my father in the memorial park. She was excited to travel. I am glad she finally did. It is also a break from her usual routine. She is excited to see her former colleagues and friends.
I call her an extraordinary superwoman. That's my mom, still up and about at almost 67!
